Reno Omokri: Presidency is incompetent over withdrawal of ICPC nominees

The ex-aide to the former President Goodluck Jonathan, Reno Omokri,has ridicule the presidency for withdrawing the nomination of two members of the Board of the Independent Corrupt Practices and other related offences Commission (ICPC) over graft allegations.There nomination was withdraw because the following public outcry over their integrity.

Omokri added that the presidency failure to investigate the social  background of Maimuna Aliyu and Sa’ad Alanamu  before they were nominated  to the sensitive positions of ICPC commissioners showed gross incompetence on the part of the presidency.

He said: “Wouldn’t it have been more prudent to have screened them for these ‘ongoing investigation issues’ before nominating them in the first place?
