Facebook hosts creator workshop in Lagos

Facebook hosted it’s first-ever creator workshop in Lagos, Nigeria.  Over twenty Facebook creators to reinforce the app’s commitment to the region’s creative community.  The workshop equipped creators with the knowledge and resources needed to earn from the engaging content they share – whether it’s a Reel or longer video. Nigeria Facebook creators who attended the workshop includes;

Mark Angel, Taaooma, Crazeclown, Kie Kie, Aproko Doctor, Gina Ehikodi, Chukwuebuka Emmanuel, Brain Jotter, MC Shem, Oluwadolarz, Kenzy Udosen, Omoye Isabota, Chivera Media.

Meta recently announced the availability of two new monetisation features on Facebook.  The new features are;  1. In-Stream Ads and  

2. Facebook Ads on Reels .

These features will enable eligible creators in Nigeria, to earn money by crafting original videos and cultivating community.
