Award on Agriculture: APC National Youth Leader Aspirant, Rex David Hails Gov. Ayade

Frontline candidate for the position of National Youth Leader of the APC, Ambassador Rex David Mgbang has congratulated the Cross Rivers State Governor, Prof Ben Ayade on his recognition by the Rice Farmers Association of Nigeria, [RIFAN].

 

Governor Ben Ayade was conferred with an 'Award of Excellence' as RIFAN celebrated President Buhari's Annual Rice Festival and flag-off of the 2022 dry season program, in Abuja, yesterday.

 

The award was given in recognition of Governor Ayade’s sterling achievements and contribution to the Nigeria rice revolution using Cross River as a case study.

 

While speaking to newsmen in Abuja, Rex congratulated the Governor on the well-deserved award, stating that the Governor is the best performing governor in the country.

 

“Governor Ayade’s focus on agriculture, industrialising Cross Rivers State, manufacturing, healthcare and education, shows his resolve to put Cross Rivers State on the list of top states in Africa. This is the kind of spirit Nigeria needs at all levels of leadership”, Rex declared.
